Transforming a 90’s Home in Teton Pines

Our Front Nine Project, nestled in the Teton Pines Country Club, is a 7,000 sq ft renovation. Originally built in the early nineties, the residence had begun to feel like a relic of a bygone era. The A43 Architecture team was tasked with breathing new life into the space and creating a modern mountain retreat suited for contemporary living.

The clients' vision was clear: they desired a contemporary feel achieved through the use of updated materials and a simplification of forms. This meant streamlining the overall design, eliminating unnecessary ornamentation, and focusing on clean lines and a neutral palette.

Functionality was equally important. The outdated layout no longer served the family's needs. Our team embarked on a complete revision of the interior, creating a floor plan to foster togetherness and provide dedicated spaces for relaxation and entertainment.

However, the heart of this project lies in its connection to the surrounding landscape. The Teton Mountain Range boasts some of the world's most spectacular vistas, and we knew these majestic peaks had to be the focal point. Through strategic design choices, we maximized the impact of the mountain views from key areas within the home. Imagine waking up to a breathtaking sunrise over the Tetons, or unwinding in the living room with the iconic peaks as your backdrop.

This renovation is more than just an update; it's a testament to the power of thoughtful design. By marrying contemporary aesthetics with a focus on functionality and a deep appreciation for the natural world, we've created a home that will be enjoyed by this family for years to come.
