A43 Featured in Jackson Hole Magazine’s summer 2024 issue

We're thrilled to announce that A43 Architecture received a feature in the Summer 2024 edition of Jackson Hole Magazine! The article, titled "Outside In" by Maggie Theodora (page 92), delves into the design principle of “biophilia: connecting humans with nature to improve well-being.”

As Chris Jaubert, founder of A43 Architecture, puts it: "In Jackson Hole, we're surrounded by this amazing natural environment, and increasingly people want homes that engage with it – homes in which the interior is connected to the exterior." This philosophy is perfectly exemplified by our Swinging Bridge Project, which is highlighted in the magazine.

The Swinging Bridge Project embodies the concept of "Outside In.":

The owner of this site overlooking the Snake River approached us with a simple request: “I want to see the river from every room.” Jaubert delivered, including a primary suite and a combined kitchen- dining- living area that seemingly overhangs the river. “Blurring the lines between interior and exterior spaces is always something we’re trying to achieve.”

This particular design showcases how architecture can seamlessly integrate with the breathtaking landscape of Jackson Hole, allowing residents to truly connect with the natural world right from their doorstep.
